Bed Linen – Expense Against Quality
Consumers have available to them a huge selection of bed linen in a wide range of colours and materials. Most will stick with the cheaper bedding that is widely available, never paying extra for what they consider a luxury item. Others will be more than happy to hand over their well earned cash in the hope that the quality they are paying for will give them the comfort they crave. Is the extra cost really worth it?
Fabric
The material from which it is made is of course the deciding factor over how expensive bed linen is. The cheaper option is usually cotton, with satin and silk offering a more luxurious choice.
Luxury
Most people will agree that silk and satin provide real comfort in the bedroom, however it is worth noting that both naturally drape and cling to the body. So if you prefer having freedom to move about then they may not be the right option for you. But you can still spoil yourself with high quality cotton bedding- the higher thread count you opt for the more comfort you get. And when you think how long we spend sleeping, comfort in our bed linen is a priority.
Product life
Another important issue we must consider is how long the bedding will actually last. Consumers are loathed to spend money on sheets that start to fall apart quickly. We should be grateful then that with bed linen you do get what you pay for, with silk and satin sheets lasting for many years and cotton sets becoming softer the more you wash them.
In conclusion you should really be led by your own preferences when deciding how much to spend on your bedding Why bother with the extra cost of quality bedding if you have always found that you sleep well in budget sheets? But those who find it difficult to sleep soundly should consider paying that bit more for their bed linen.
Thought Of The Day
Every homeowner should have a tool kit that contains the basic tools that you may need to do regular repairs on your home. By having these tools on hand you can be prepared to handle all repairs in your home and you can take on some home improvements also.
Hand ToolsStart with the most basic of your tools – hand tools. You need to have a collection of Phillips head screwdrivers as well as straight screwdrivers. You should also have pliers: Regular needle nose and locking. Then you will want to have wrenches: An Allen wrench adjustable wrench combination wrench and a socket wrench set.

What company makes the best hand tools
My told told me “hand tools are an investment get good ones at first because they last you forever.”
It’s hard when there is 304985203945 different brands because chine produces them now and what not. Anyone know any good brands and any good websites that sell them refurbished
A tool that needs to be ‘refurbished’ wasn’t a good tool to begin with. Stanley Black & Decker Inc. makes the best hand tools in my opinion.
Chinese tools are cheaply made and are cr*p (sorry about the language

Damn, 3 genius posts in a row. I don't remember the surf looking much like that teatowel when I was a kid, but who can argue with a quality cotton depiction.

Surely for images served over the web the key measurement is the speed gain due to smaller filesize minus the loss due to extra decompression time. It is after all a project hosted under Google’s speed

>if there are so many unemployed architects out there, why don’t they leverage their architecture skills into other fields? Honestly? Most of us would see it as settling. It’s a degree that exposes you to a wide range of material with lots of problem solving, and most of us want a job that will challenge us in all of those areas. Many people want to call themselves an architect… even people in a totally unrelated field! Hiyoooo! I don’t know why architects started with the Flash crap. From what I’ve seen it’s waning, but not fast enough.

About 4 years ago I was fed up with the quality of sheets that I was getting from stores and online, that claimed to be of high quality. Even more frustrating was the lack of organic cotton sheets (my family has been in the textile business for YEARS, so I was pretty in tune to how horrible conventional cotton processing is for the environment. So I started a company selling eco-friendly sheets. People who have them, LOVE them, but I think the biggest issue we’re facing, is that we don’t have super high thread count, and most people automatically assume “high thread count = better sheet set”. This couldn’t be further from the truth, the quality of the fabric comes from the quality of the cotton, as well as the yarn. Most manufacturers are using multi ply yarn to advertise a higher thread count, but in reality you’re getting a worse sheet. Personally, I’m most comfortable on our 200 thread count (our lowest TC, and cheapest) sheet set.

Thread count is a measure of how densely woven a fabric is. It means the number of threads per inch and is typically in the range of 70 to 150, but can be as high as 1000 for very fine thread.
