Live In Style With Designer Bathrooms
Your bathroom is so much more than simply the place where you get cleaned up before you head off to work or freshen up at the end of the day. It’s our sanctuary from the pressures of our daily lives, a place to get away and relax with a long, hot bath. We all need a little time out to unwind in our day – and for most of us, the bathroom is where we do some of our best relaxing. We also tend to use this room to get away from other people so we can think in peace; and some of our best ideas can come while we’re in the bath. However, the bathroom is now a part of virtually every home – including a toilet, shower, bathtub and a sink. A luxurious designer bathroom may have many more features such as customized sinks, handcrafted cabinets and artfully designed fixtures, massaging shower-heads and more. Bathtubs are another area where you have a lot of options. Hot tubs are becoming a very popular addition which you’ll find in many designer bathrooms because of the relaxation they offer. You can also choose from a mind boggling variety of shower heads, from body sprayers to massaging shower-heads and many other styles in looks which match your vision for your bathroom.

Thanks for this Ethan.
I think we are on the same page. Yes, DIY home improvement is my thing. Yes, I would like to do it for less money. I don't want to have the government give me money though. Our country is in too much debt as it is.
There is not “right” to own a home and our government shouldn't be subsidizing people getting into debts they cant afford. Its how we got into the housing crisis to begin with, it doesn't seem to have gotten better.
In my show we talk about energy savings, home improvement, etc. We have often said, don't get in over your head.
Anyway, enough of a rant. Thanks for the post.

Having only recently discovered the joy of bath scrubbies & puffs I haven't thought ahead to recycling them, although I have commented on the seemingly indestructible nature of these bath accessories. Glad to learn they are sanitized before recycling.
But can you repurpose them into crochet art?

Hmmm well the thing there is I am not good enough at carpentry and home improvement work. I am only semi-skilled at it. Skilled enough to make a backwoods shack that won’t blow over in a strong wind. But definitely not good enough to try and make a living at it. Good idea though.

The photos are fantastic. The lotus flower panels fit the color scheme of the kitchen. The spectrum of colors for the glass panels fits the decor of the kitchen perfectly. As it increases in popularity, techniques and style have developed a great deal. Stained glass panels is a form of artwork. Glass panels can be unusual, luxurious, and unique. There is so much you need to find out before installing your glass panels because the right change can really have some advantages. A great first step to any kind of home improvement project, is doing some research with McGraw Hill’s Sweets Directory of construction products. Though I currently work for them, they honestly offer a lot of useful information, and offer some really helpful CAD details that you can download from their site. They have really helped me on a lot of my home improvement projects. I highly recommend them.

The sweep wasn't difficult to install. However, I am having a hard time with bath accessories. I've already torn the heads off of two screws trying to install a towel bar.
Not sure about the couch. I'd say someone would take it off the street in no time.

I heard that he had a cleft palate. I also heard that it was a gimmick. However, he does reveal his face in the last episode of Home Improvement when it aired on ABC. I just wish he was still alive to find out more about why he covered his face.

Home improvement projects can be heavy on the pockets. As much as we want to give the projects to expert contractors who can deliver excellent results, sometimes, it’s just more practical to have a little exercise and do these projects without the help of contractors. The first aim of a home improvement project is the addition of new elements that would improve the physical aspect of the house.

Any home improvement project whether big or small requires considerable planning. Every home improvement requires time and money, both of which are resources that cannot be replaced once spent. Careful planning helps make sure that both resources are used wisely in order to achieve the desired results.
Before undergoing any home improvement project, it is important to take into consideration every aspect of the project. Avoid heading into any project without first considering the pros and cons so as to avoid wasting precious time, energy and money. Fortunately, there are various resources that are available to homeowners interested in undertaking a home improvement project.

If a family is tired and bored with the current colors of their house, they can do the painting themselves. Painting the house together is a great way to bond and have fun while improving the home at the same time.
Many people who attempt to paint their houses have problems which are related to the improper selection of painting materials. You must remember that cheap paint is not the way to go when painting the house.
2) Kitchen
Installing ceramic tiles on the countertop or the floor is one of them. There are a lot of resource materials that are out there, especially on the Internet that gives a step-by-step guide on how to install these ceramic tiles.
3. Installing wallpapers
Giving a home’s walls a new look is definitely a great way to do home improvement. Wallpapers can easily be obtained from home improvement shops and stores. The different designs include hand prints which are imported, there are heavy textured wall papers, there are designs which are embossed.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for the tips. I'm actually thinking about getting some recessed lighting put in, but just taking everything one step at a time. I'm pretty new to this DIY home improvement stuff, but it's really fun. I saw some really cool LED switch plates, but maybe I can save that for later.
Hope to have more fun stuff home improvement updates. Thanks for stopping by!

Love the colors that the kids picked. Cam really picked a sophisticated color. Does he have plaid bedding to go with it? Your bedroom is almost the color of my kitchen in my old house. Whe the sun came in the window the walls took on a rich glow. I loved it. I got a bed, bath and beyond flyer today and all of their surf bath accessories (shower curtains, towels, toothbrush holders, etc) are on sale. I may pick up some for the blue bathroom my boys share. I love how the blanket is coming along.
